The Kombucha culture is a beneficial and symbiotic combination of bacteria and yeast. The culture is commonly referred to as the Mushroom or the Mother, in that it closely resembles Mother of Vinegar, (used to make apple cider vinegar), and has similar health benefits.

Kombucha is a wonderful cleanser of the cells and tissues. It contains glucuronic acid which binds poisons and toxins and flushes them from the body via the kidneys. This fermented and cultured tea also provides vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, folic Acid, L-lactic Acid and Usnic Acid which has an antibacterial effect.
